SPARKLE – A1043810
7-17-2015 Brooklyn
***GONE 07/17/15*** SPARKLE THE KITTEN IS AFRAID AND ALONE! He was found as a ‘stray’ and has not allowed handling, but this means nothing in this very chaotic and loud environment of ACC. SPARKLE needs you tonight, to get out of ACC alive, because otherwise he will die-ACC at this time of year is crowded and the cats don’t get much time. Please, consider fostering this fellow. His behavior is not what he’ll be in a home-where he can have time t adjust and be a ‘normal’ cat. SPARKLE really needs you to save his life, because at 5 months, it’s hardly begun. He’s an innocent baby! Please save SPARKLE so he can shine in a real home!

07/16/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to Assessor: Sparkle does not come to the front, but remains neutral inside his cage. When softly spoken to, he meows softly and focuses on the assessor. Reaction to cage door opening: Sparkle remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Sparkle hisses at the assessor’s hand and remains immobile. He allows touch, but lowers his head and stress meows. Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Sparkle tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
