SOPHIE – A1052403
Safe 9-28-2015 Brooklyn Rescue: Staten Island Hope Please honor your pledges: http://www.statenislandhoperescue.org/
**SAFE 09/28/15** Nothing says “we don’t give a hoot about the animals under our so-called ‘care’ ” quite like naming an underweight, dehydrated, and vulnerable MALE kitten…….”Sophie.” Yes, that’s right, the ACC don’t care enough about the animals they take in—and they are an open admission shelter, so even if they don’t want to accept a 10-month-old black and white kitten, they are legally obligated to—–they don’t care about them enough to give out gender-appropriate names. Or, maybe whoever names them has NO idea how to determine the gender of a kitten. In any event, the ACC is through “caring” for SOPHIE (if they ever did, which is completely doubtful) and they have decided to kill him tomorrow. That’s 100% UNACCEPTABLE but of course, that’s also 100% what they are going to get away with doing unless YOU can FOSTER or ADOPT SOPHIE, tonight!
