SONNET – A1041613
7-3-2015 Manhattan
*** GONE 07/03/15 *** TWO CHOCOLATE CUTIES…..DR. SEUSS & SONNET….CAME IN TOGETHER. DR.SEUSS is actually a female and is still lactating from kittens that did not come in with her. SONNET may be an older sibling. These two velvety beauties are afraid and alone. Some TLC, TIME and PATIENCE would go a long way with them but the ACC doesn’t deal with any of those……IF YOU HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT FOSTERING, HERE’S A GOOD PLACE TO START….SONNET & DR. SEUSS need some help to blossom and rescues desperately need fosters….PLEASE SAVE THEIR LIVES TONITE!!

07/01/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Sonnet was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment he was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Remains motionless as I started to get closer. I was able to pet him and interact with him in a limited way. Although he was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents with no children. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening: remains motionless Reaction to touch: retreats, allows petting but will try to aviod touch Try picking cat up: not tolerant of this type of handling. Placement Determination: Experience no child
