***SAFE 08/21/15 *** PERFECTLY HEALTHY SOCKS IS A KITTEN WHO WAS OBVIOUSLY DUMPED BY HIS OWNER YET THE ACC SAYS STRAY- NOW THIS SUPER KITTEN WILL DIE BECAUSE HE HISSED!!! The ACC info says SOCKS is a stray but if you read the bio you will see he is really an OWNER DUMP! SOCKS is a one year old KITTEN who has unfairly been slapped with a NEW HOPE rating because he hissed. SOCKS has lived with children and other cats. He was said to be playful and affectionate and had good litterbox manners. SOCKS allowed petting and handling on his assessment and even leaned into the assessor’s hand while doing so – but wait – he hissed!! THAT HISS GOT HIM AN UNFAIR NEW HOPE RATING AND A TRIP TO THE EUTH LIST TONIGHT!! ANYONE CAN SEE HOW UNFAIR THIS IS FOR SOCKS – HE IS A SWEET FRIENDLY KITTEN AND DESERVES A FUREVER HOME. CONTACT A RESCUE TO GET THIS BOY OUT OF HERE NOW!!
