SOCA – A1048042
8-24-2015 Manhattan
*** GONE 08/24/15 *** NAT & SOCA AND HOUSEMATES LOST THEIR HOME WHEN THEIR OWNER WAS EVICTED…..NAT is a 3 year old cow cat just waiting to meet you!! She is at the front of the cage looking for that special purrson to rescue her!! “Very sweet and gentle seeks petting, lays on back for belly rubs purring and meowing.” SOCA is getting a second chance tonight!! He was listed last nite and unlike NAT, SOCA is totally terrified and has a NEW HOPE rating…..WHAT TO DO?? OFFER TO FOSTER OR ADOPT! Fostering and adopting saves lives……Maybe consider adopting NAT & SOCA together and keeping at least a little part of their family together….DON’T WAIT, THE ACC WON’T TOMORROW…..SAVE THEM NOW!!

08/19/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Soca looks tense in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Soca remains crouched down at the back of the cage, alert with pupils fully dilated. Reaction to touch: Soca accepts a stroke then hisses at the assessor’s hand with ears down to his side and began to low growl in place. Placement determination: NH ONLY Soca is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room. He is extremely fearful in the shelter environment and does not currently tolerate petting. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
