SNICKERDOODL – A1033324

4-20-2015 Brooklyn

Previous | Next

**SAFE 04/20/15 Snickerdoodle is a pretty four month old kitty who was brought into BACC as a stray with a right radius and ulna fracture. Like her namesake, Snickerdoodle is mostly sweet, but a little spicy! She enjoys attention and can be easily won over with food, but she can get a little hissy when her leg is handled. Our vet thinks Snickerdoodle’s fracture may heal with cage rest, but she should receive an orthopedic consultation. Please help Snickerdoodle get the medical care she needs, and pull her from BACC today!

Behavior: Average Home

Notes: Snickerdoodle was brought to the shelter as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying friendly behavior, comes to the front of the kennel, allows Assessor to interact with her,  tolerates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Snickerdoodle is displaying behavior appropriate for a new cat owner.

Reaction to assessor: At front of the cage (1)

When spoken quietly: stays at front (1)

Reaction to door cage opening: remains soft & relaxed (1)

Reaction to touch: allows attention (1)

Try picking cat up: tolerant of this type of handling.

Placement Determination: Average
