SNEAKY – A1036094
5-26-2015 Brooklyn
***GONE 05/26/15***SWEET SNEAKY NEEDS NEW FRIEND! Sneaky and his fur bro, Buddy (still available) sadly lost the only home they knew since they were kittens when their owner got sick and could no longer care for them. Sneaky is a low maintenance, four year old, calm neutered boy who is a little frightened at the shelter but still tolerates petting and earned a respectable experienced rating. Poor Sneaky has caught the curable kitty cold and will die tomorrow afternoon if we don’t do everything we can to advocate for him tonight. If you can open up your heart and home to Sneaky, please reserve him online. Even if you can only offer temporary safe haven, remember fostering saves lives. Please consider pulling his equally sweet and affectionate, Buddy, too as everyone knows a pair of kitties is even better than one. Make the call for sweet Sneaky. Save a life. Make a difference.

When he was smaller he was bathed, but right now he just maintains his own coat. He always uses his uncovered litterbox.

05/15/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Owner Profile: Sneaky was bought into the care center because his previous owner is having personal problems. Sneaky has only lived with adults and when children come to visit, he will stay hidden or move himself to an area they do not occupy. Sneaky lived with two of his brothers. They all got along but he would boss the other two around. His behavior towards dogs is unknown. Sneaky is litter trained. Notes: Sneaky at the time of the assessment was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Remains motionless but after a steady low approach using soft voices she relaxed a little and I was able to pet her and interact with her in a limited way. I was also able to pick her up and although she was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but remains neutral (2) When spoken quietly: does not come to front but remains neutral (2) Reaction to door cage opening: remains motionless (2) Reaction to touch: seems indifferent to my presence and touch (2) Reaction to toy or novel object: shows no interest in playing (3) Try picking cat up: tolerant of this type of handling but tense. Placement Determination: Experience
