***SAFE 05/15/15*** SWEET SNAIL CAME INTO THE ACC AS A STRAY NUZZLING AND DISPLAYING AFFECTIONATE BEHAVIOR – SADLY HE TESTED POSITIVE FOR FELV AND NOW WILL DIE FOR IT. SNAIL is a gentle and sweet Russian blue type mix kitty and he was seeking attention the second he came into the shelter. A volunteer writes: This big gray boy is sitting in a kennel right now, but he must have been a lap kitty in the not-too-distant past. He ambles over to see you when you open the door to feed him, then puts his head down to be petted, reveling in the affection you are giving him. Snail is quiet and calm, and I can just imagine him being purr-fectly content sitting in the window contemplating the birds. Better yet, I can imagine him sitting on my lap as we chuckle over the bad behavior of the kitties on Jackson Galaxy’s show. Snail would look up at me and shake his head in disapproval, as if to purr, “I’d never behave like that.” And I believe him. DON’T LET THIS WONDERFUL 2 YEAR OLD BOY BE KILLED ONLY FOR BEING FELV+. FELV+ CATS CAN LIVE LONG LIVES AND NEVER EVEN COME DOWN WITH THE DISEASE. SNAIL DESERVES TO LIVE AND HAVE A HOME – PLEASE CONTACT A RESCUE TO PULL HIM TO SAFETY NOW!!!
