***GONE 07/08/15*** SHY YOUNG TUXIE GIRL, POSSIBLY PREGNANT OR A RECENT MOM, IS IN PERFECT HEALTH AND HAS A GREAT BEHAVIOR RATING, BUT THE ACC WILL KILL HER ANYWAY – PLEASE GRANT SLINKY A DEATH ROW PARDON!!! Adorable pink-nosed tuxie girl SLINKY, just two years old, entered the kill-happy ACC as a STRAY, yet she came into the shelter with a three-week-old kitten which may be hers! Status of her kitten is unknown. Sweet, shy Slinky earned a very good EXPNOCHILD behavior rating, but the heartless ACC has written her off as NOT WORTH SAVING and fast-tracked her to the noon kill list for tomorrow, despite the fact that poor Slinky is PERFECTLY HEALTHY! Please step up for this dear girl. Start RIGHT NOW to apply to foster or adopt young tuxie girl SLINKY! If you can’t save SLINKY yourself, please SHARE her sad story and PLEDGE for her rescue!

06/30/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
06/30/15 09:16 Queen: A1042105 Kitten: A1042106 Intake Behavior: Slinky was very frightened when brought to the care center. She sat in the carrier with dilated eye and a frozen stare. A new carrier was placed next to the one she was in and she ran in the new carrier franticly. She was not collared and scanned due to her stress. The carrier door was opened slightly to take her photo.

07/06/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to Assessor: Slinky was alert and focused on the assessor upon approach. When softly spoken to, she continues to stare. Reaction to cage door opening: Slinky remains immobile. Reaction to touch: Slinky was hesitant and wary of the assessor’s hand, but allows stroke and remains stiff and immobile. Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Slinky tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. She may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to her new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
