07/26/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Skippy was resting in her cage approach. She blinks when softly spoken to, possibly because she is so sleepy. Reaction to cage door opening: Skippy remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Skippy was hesitant of touch, but remains in place and closes her eyes. She relaxes a little after and leans on the assessor’s hand. Reaction to being picked up: Skippy is stiff, but allows handling. Behavior Determination: Experience Skippy tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter. She may need time to warm up in her new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
