SIX – A1048126
Gone 9-19-2015 Manhattan
***GONE 09/19/15*** SIX is the name of this chubby- cheeked cutie who was brought in as a STRAY. SIX was being fed by the Finder for 6 months outside her building and NOW he stares death in the eye at the ACC. The 2 year old was hissy, tense and scared at assessment. But one could not blame him…he is on a time clock to find a new owner or be put to death by noon! His fearful nature is the reason behind the EXPERIENCE rating he received. That doesn’t mean he’ ll always be like this. Some decompression time should get him back to his sweet self! Offer to FOSTER or ADOPT SIX today!

08/20/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Six looks tense in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Six remains crouched down on his cage bedding, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Six slowly retreats away from the assessor’s hand then allows the stroke and shows some interest by leaning into the hand. However, he remains cautious with his surroundings and seems unsure. Placement determination: Experience Six tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
