*SAFE 04/27/15* Meet Siren! Siren is a gorgeous 10 year old Siamese looking for a caring home. Siren can be very affectionate, but appears to get over stimulated. BEHAVIOR:
Reaction to assessor: Siren looks neutral in her cage when approached by the assessor.
Reaction to door opening: Siren remains sitting upright on her cage bedding, immobile in place.
Reaction to touch: Siren accepts the stroke, stands with tail up, and head-butts the assessor’s hand. However, during the touch she unexpectedly bit and hissed at the hand, but then continue to solicit attention.
Placement determination: Experience / no child
Siren tolerates attention and petting but may be stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
