SIMONE – aka – SIMON – A1039255
6-18-2015 Brooklyn Rescue: Happy Homes Please honor your pledges: http://www.happyhomesinc.org/
**SAFE 06/18/15** SIMONE is a beautiful tabby girl of only 10 weeks of age. She combines a sensible nervousness of the ACC, with a background that may not feature much coddling, so Simone is just a bit skittish. Kittens like Simon are quick learners and typically respond quickly to patient, loving owners, which is why it’s so important to share her widely tonight. There must be ONE foster/adoptive home who can save SIMONE’s life tonight, but they may not realize that she is scheduled to die tomorrow. Please share SIMONE far and wide, and make sure her hero steps up for her tonight!

06/10/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Simon came into the care center as a stray, and appears to be undersocialized. He allows touch but avoids interaction and hisses when approached in order to increase distance. Reaction to assessor: Simon is at the front of the cage when approached. Reaction to cage door opening: Simon hisses and retreats. Reaction to touch: Simon huddles at the back of the cage and hisses as the assessor extends her hand. He tolerates gentle touch on the head but does not relax, solicit, or approach. Placement determination: Experienced home without children Simon appears to need positive experiences with humans in order to build trust and confidence. We recommend an experienced adopter or New Hope partner familiar with kitten socialization. We also recommend a home without children for Simon’s comfort.
