SIERRA MIST – A1054745
Safe 10-24-2015 Manhattan
***SAFE 10/24/15*** These twin look-alikes, SIERRA MIST and ORBITZ were SEIZED due to the owners “arrest”! So that’s how it works? The previous owner does something stupid and gets thrown in the slammer but the two cats are in a “jail” of their own. The only difference is the 2 year olds may not get to walk out after time served! They get to die! They are both scared and confused and need quiet new homes with EXPERIENCED cat parents. SIERRA MIST needs a “no children” home…at least until he settles in and gets used to his new surroundings! PLEASE, give these guys a PARDON! Offer to FOSTER or ADOPT them….their owner being in jail shouldn’t mean a DEATH sentence for these two sweethearts!

10/22/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Sierra looks tense in her cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Sierra remains crouched position, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Sierra hisses at first, but once touched his ears are flattened, tail tightly held close to the body, and slowly began to retreat away from the assessor’s hand. Placement determination: Experience / no child Sierra tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
