SHORTY – A1060246
Safe 12-21-2015 Brooklyn Rescue: Posh Pets Please honor your pledges: http://poshpetsrescue.org/
***SAFE 12/21/15*** A volunteer who knows SHORTY thought he would get adopted quickly because of his winning personality, but unfortunately this sweetheart is on tomorrow’s shelter kill list. SHORTY is a gorgeous 1 year old black and white male, who was bred at home and brought with his mom, Mia, and Dad, also named Shorty, to the shelter because the owner had personal problems. Shorty lived with 2 small kids and was affectionate and relaxed towards them—a mark of a true sweetheart! A volunteer writes: “Shorty is a handsome young man with a mind of his own! He knows what he wants and how to get it, and in this case, that means how he likes his kennel organized. He lets you change his litter box, bedding and water, sitting patiently and watching your movements with great interest and curiosity. Once you’re done and you’ve closed his kennel door, Shorty begins to move things around until he’s satisfied with the arrangements and then he plops himself down on the blanket for a nap. He will hop right up again, though, if you’re willing to pet him for awhile, something he enjoys immensely. This little guy is so agreeable that it’s hard to imagine him being in the shelter for long, so make sure you go have a look!” SHORTY is not short on love and affection! This cuddle-bug will warm your heart on cold winter nights. Please foster or adopt SHORTY ASAP!
