***SAFE 10/23/15*** OK New York..Derek Jeter left the Yankees and has big shoes to fill. Well here he is. Meet your new SHORT STOP! The 9 week old is as spunky as he is cute! But the assessor took his fear and made him into a RESCUE ONLY kitten! The little guy is scared! Who can blame him? Better still…Who can help him? Will you contact a NEW HOPE RESCUE and offer to FOSTER or ADOPT him? This guy just wants a “home team”… One where he won’t be traded or DUMPED on! Step in his shoes, pick him up and run the bases! All the way HOME!

10/18/15 10:47 Profile wasn’t left due to kitten being stray. Behavior During Intake: Short Stop was brought into the facility in a trap by the finder. Upon arrival Short Stop was very vocal and thrashing around the trap in attempts to flee. When I extended my hand to try and pet/handle Short Stop it hissed, swatted, and darted in the opposite direction. Due to this behavior I was not able to Handle Short Stop at the time of intake.
