SHELBY has a cold and since the ACC would rather kill than cure, she is on the list tonight!! PLEASE OFFER TO FOSTER or ADOPT SHELBY AND BRING HER TO A NEW AND LOVING HOME!!

I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 09/29/2015 from NY 11428, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY. Reaction to door cage opening: Shelby remains motionless Reaction to touch: Shelby seems indifferent to my presence and touch at first but slowly warms up and responds well to chin rubs. Try picking cat up: Shelby is tolerant of this type of handling. Behavior Determination: Average At the time of the assessment Shelby was displaying shy behavior, did not come to the front of the kennel but allows attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Shelby is displaying behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
