***SAFE 05/08/15*** “FRIENDLY” YOUNG TORBIE CHIRPS, PURRS AND HAS AN AWESOME BEHAVIOR RATING, BUT THE ACC WILL KILL HER ANYWAY – PLEASE GRANT SHEA A DEATH ROW PARDON!!! Spectacular torbie and white beauty SHEA, just two years old, was shoved into the kill-happy ACC as a supposed “STRAY”, but this pretty princess is so “FRIENDLY”, she CAME WHEN CALLED and LOVED getting petted on her head! It’s obvious Shea is a lost or abandoned pet kitty. Adorable Shea even rocked a near-perfect AVERAGE behavior rating, but the heartless ACC will KILL her at noon tomorrow, another INNOCENT VICTIM of the notorious ACC kitty cold and a badly broken shelter system. Please save this precious lovebug! Start RIGHT NOW to apply to foster or adopt darling torbie girl SHEA! If you can’t save SHEA yourself, please SHARE her sad story and PLEDGE for her rescue!

04/27/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – AVERAGE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Shea was calm, relaxed, and friendly upon approach. When softly spoken to, she looks at the assessor, blinks her eyes, and puts her head down to rest. Reaction to cage door opening: Shea remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Shea chirps, comes to the front, and begins to purr. After a little while, she starts to eat her food while the assessor continues to pet her. Reaction to being picked up: Shea remains calm and allows handling. Note: Shea was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. The finder reported her to walk up to them when called, and allowed them to pet her on her head. She did not display any aggressive behaviors during her initial medical exam. Behavior Determination: Average Shea interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
