I came in the shelter as a OWNER SUR on 10/05/2015 from NY 11435, owner surrender reason stated was LLORDPRIVA.

10/05/15 12:24 Basic information Shadow is a 6 year old neutered Gray tabby with no known medical conditions. Owner is surrendering Shadow because of landlord tenant issues. Socialization Shadow has never lived with children but when interacting with them he is very calm and relaxed. Behavior is not known for other cats or dogs. Shadow is an indoor cat and is litter box trained. Shadow was described as friendly, playful, talkative and affectionate with a medium activity level. Behavior Shadow isn’t bothered by being picked up and held or brushing his coat. When trying to bathe shadow he will become afraid and try to run away. Shadow wasn’t bothered by being placed in a carrier. For the new family to know Shadow enjoys playing with stuffed toys, strings and balls. Shadow plays gently with owner and tends to follow you around when home. Shadow uses tidy cat clumping litter. Shadow was quiet for the car rid. Shadow eats wellness brand wet and dry food. Previous owner fed Shadow a can of wet in the morning and dry food at night. Behavior during intake Shadow was quiet during intake. When counselor approached Shadow he started to push his head against the carrier towards counselor. Shadows allowed to be scanned, collared and have his picture taken with a loose wiggly body.

Shadow was bought into the care center due to his previous owner’s buliding not allowing pets. Shadow has never lived with children but when interacting with them he is very calm and relaxed. His behavior towards other cats and dogs remains unknown. Shadow is an indoor cat and is litter box trained. Shadow was described as friendly, playful, talkative and affectionate with a medium activity level. Reaction to assessor: Shadow does not come to front but looks at you, is calm, relaxed When spoken quietly: Shadow does not come to front but looks at you, is calm, relaxed Reaction to door cage opening: Shadow comes to the front of the cage and remains soft and relaxed. He also tried to calmly walk out the cage Reaction to touch: Shadow allows petting and attention Try picking cat up: Shadow is tolerant of this type of handling Behavior Determination: Average At the time of the assessment Shadow was displaying calm behavior, comes to the front of the kennel, interacts with the Assessor, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Shadow is displaying behavior appropriate for a new cat owner.
