09/26/15 22:07 Litter Mates : Osito : A1052893 Kasey : A1052895 Sebastian : A1052896 Sebastian and his litter mates were surrendered at ACC today by their owner today. Sebastian is a 2 yrs. old gray male tabby cat who lived with his owner for 2 years. Sebastian is described as being playful and sweet. He appears healthy and will undergo a full physical health exam and he is neutered as well. Sebastian has been socialized with children cats and dogs at this time. He is described as being relaxed respectful and tolerant when he is around all three. When he is interacting with them he is gentle and well behaved. He is an indoor cat who is litter trained. He has a low activity level and is described as being confident mellow friendly affectionate quiet independent and friendly. Sebastian is not bothered when he is given a bath or having his nails trimmed. He is also not bothered when he is being held placed inside of his carrier or having his fur brushed. He is not bothered when he is disturbed from his sleep or riding in cars. He uses clumping clay and crystal litter inside of a closed litter box. He likes to play with strings and catnip toys and will engage in chasing games. He has a vertical scratching post made out of carpet that he likes to use. He likes to eat dry and wet food once a day and is not given cat treats. When he is in the house with his owner Sebastian will follow them around and stay in the same room with them. He likes to stay on the window sill the bed or the couch nd will sleep anyhere in the house at night. During the Intake process he was calm and well behaved. He allowed himself to be placed inside of a new carrier with no issues at all. He also allowed himself to be collared and photographed with minimal effort. He allowed himself to be held and carrier without incident and displayed no negative behaviors.

Owner Profile: Sebastian was bought into the care center due to his previous owner being evicted. Sebastian has been socialized with children ,cats and dogs at this time. He is described as being relaxed respectful and tolerant when he is around them. Sebastian is an indoor cat who is litter trained. He has a low activity level and is described as being confident, mellow, friendly, affectionate, quiet, independent and friendly. Notes: Sebastian at the time of the assessment she was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Remains motionless as I started to get closer. I was able to pet him and interact with him in a limited way. I was also able to pick him up and although he was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that Sebastian goes to a home with experienced cat parents. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening: remains motionless Reaction to touch: seems indifferent to my presence and touch Try picking cat up: Sebastian is tolerant of this type of handling but tense.
