***SAFE 05/20/15*** SUPER RARE THIRD CHANCE ON THE EUTH LIST FOR SARITA – WHO IS TERRIBLY FRIGHTENED AND MAY BE PREGNANT! This beautiful cat was on the euth list the first night with no photograph, so potential foster/adopters couldn’t see how beautiful she is. It’s surprising the ACC gave her another day of life and bothered to take her picture, It is even MORE shocking they have not spay aborted her and gave her a very rare THIRD CHANCE on tonight’s list. IS THE THIRD TIME THE CHARM??? Sarita is naturally afraid, so of course, the shelter have given her a New Hope rating. Only a rescue group can pull Sarita and her unborn babies to safety, tonight. DON’T LET SARITA’S RARE THIRD TIME ON THE LIST GO UNRESCUED – GIVE THIS POOR MOMMA CAT A CHANCE TO LIVE AND HAVE HER BABIES BY CONTACTING A RESCUE NOW TO SAVE HER LIFE. SHE DESERVES TO LIVE.

05/13/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Sarita was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to was seeing during the evaluation. She seems to not be thriving in this environment and at the time of the assessment she was displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room and may require further investigation before placement in a home. She has tried to strike and is extremely fearful. She currently does not tolerate petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening: become stiff, alert, continues to hiss (3) Reaction to touch: hisses, growls(4) Try picking cat up: not tolerant of this type of behavior, hisses swat Placement Determination: NewHope
