***GONE 10/13/15*** PURRING YOUNG CALICO CHARMER, DUMPED FOR TOO MANY PETS, HAS A LOVING VOLUNTEER PLEA AND A NEAR-PERFECT BEHAVIOR RATING, BUT WILL DIE BECAUSE SHE SNEEZED – PLEASE GRANT SANDY A DEATH ROW PARDON!!! Cute-as-a-button two-year-old calico charmer SANDY finds herself stuffed into the kill-happy ACC due to TOO MANY PETS. Sandy arrived at the shelter with her two kittens, who were both adopted and are now SAFE. Sweet Sandy quickly caught the eye of an ACC volunteer, who lovingly writes: “This little gem is a great mama. So loving and caring in her pint size body. It’s time to move on she says the little ones have grown. She is here now and looking to share a home with a happy family. Sandy is gentle and sweet and so petite. A little pixie who deserves tranquility in life.” Sandy earned a near-perfect behavior rating of AVERAGE for her soft PURRS and loving disposition, but this darling girl will DIE at noon tomorrow, an INNOCENT VICTIM of the notorious ACC kitty cold and a badly broken shelter system. Please don’t let them murder this excellent young girl! Start RIGHT NOW to apply to foster or adopt calico charmer SANDY! If you can’t save SANDY yourself, please SHARE her sad story and PLEDGE for her rescue!.

10/02/15 18:48 Sandy A1053499 and her two 4 month old kittens Mandy A1053500 and Billy A1053503 are being surrendered because the owner has too many pets in her home. She is pregnant and unable to take care of all of the cats. She found Sandy as a stray 2 years ago. One day Sandy escaped out of the window and came back to the house pregnant. All three cats have not been to the vet and have no known health issues. Socialization Sandy and mandy are both shy around strangers. Billy is very friendly and outgoing. They play exuberantly with adults and children. They live with other cats in the home and get along with them. Sandy has been around dogs and she dilikes them. Mandy and billy have not been around dogs. They have not bitten anyone or any other animal. Behavior Sandy, Mandy and Billy are litterbox trained. They do not have accidents out of the box. Sandy does not baths but Mandy and Billy like to stand under running water and like to play in their water bowls. For a new family to know The owner describes them as very energetic and playful. She says that they are very affectionate and like to love bite. They love to play with their toys. They like stuffed mice with the bells in them and they like to throw them in the air and catch them. They sleep wherever they want but they like to sleep together in laundry baskets. They were being fed cat chow. The owner said that Sandy likes chicken, Billy likes spaghetti, and Mandy likes pizza. Behavior during intake Sandy, Mandy, and Billy occasionally meowed in their carriers. They slowly walked out of their carriers onto the table. They were tense bodied and looked around. They looked over the end of the table as if they’d jump if I wasn’t blocking them. They allowed me to pick up, hold, scan (-), collar, position them for pictures, and put them into carriers. They didn’t resist or vocalize.
