Reaction to assessor: Sander was at the front soliciting attention by rubbing against the cage door. When softly spoken to, she continues to rub her entire body against the front. Reaction to cage door opening: Sander was soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Sander squints her eyes, but allows stroke on her head and back, and lightly head-butts the assessor’s hand afterwards. Reaction to being picked up: Sander remains calm and allows handling. Behavior Determination: Average Sander interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
