*** GONE 07/12/15 *** SUPER SENIOR SAMMY WOULD LIKE SOME R-E-S-P-E-C-T……After all, at 15 years old, you would think a cat could have some things go her way….SAMMY was abandoned at the ACC with two of her housemates who she liked at a distance. Now this SPAYED grandma has a New Hope rating because she is totally terrified and out of her element…..PLEASE SAVE A SENIOR TONIGHT!! SAMMY WOULD LIKE A HOME OF HER OWN AGAIN!!

07/10/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Sammy’s former owner stated she is fearful of children and of people in general, attempting to run away but if unable to will hiss at them. She does not play and has the same behavior towards cats and dogs. Reaction to assessor: Sammy looks neutral in her cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Sammy remains crouched down on her cage bedding, immobile in place. Reaction to touch: Sammy does not allow the stroke, hisses, and swats at the assessor’s hand. Placement determination: NH ONLY Sammy is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room. She is stressed in the shelter environment and does not currently tolerate petting.
