SAFE 04/24/15*** HANDSOME TABBY BOY IS PERFECTLY HEALTHY, WITH A GOOD BEHAVIOR RATING, BUT THE ACC WILL KILL HIM ANYWAY – PLEASE GRANT SAMMY A DEATH ROW PARDON!!! Sensational SAMMY, a six-year-old black tabby boy, was put into the high-kill ACC as a supposed “STRAY”, but Sammy entered the shelter FREE of fleas, at a healthy weight. It’s obvious Sammy is a lost or abandoned pet kitty. Sammy allowed handling during his behavior test, scoring a good EXPNOCHILD behavior rating, but the ACC will KILL Sammy tomorrow at noon, despite the fact that poor Sammy is PERFECTLY HEALTHY! Please start RIGHT NOW to apply to foster or adopt stunning tabby boy SAMMY! If you can’t save SAMMY yourself, please SHARE his sad story and PLEDGE for his rescue!

04/18/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Sammy looks neutral in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Sammy slowly retreats to the back of the cage, sitting upright, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Sammy avoids contact but then allows the stroke and crouches inplace with head down. Placement determination: EXperience / no child Sammy tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
