SAFE 8/7/15 A staff member writes, “Are you looking for a new friend for your current cat; a happy go lucky friend full of love? Then Sammy is your guy. Sammy is a shy cat at first, but after only a few minutes his true happy personality shines through. Sammy has lived with another cat for almost ten years. They were best friends, sharing beds and toys throughout the house. Sammy is pretty mellow but there is still a lot of sass here! He is described by his last owner as loving and affectionate, and was talkative whenever he wanted some TLC. Sammy loves being brushed, held, and told how handsome he is. Come in and meet Sammy today!”
A volunteer writes: I was walking by his kennel when I saw Sammy looking at me, as if to invite me to come meet him. I took him up on his offer, what a great cat he is! Super friendly, affectionate, could definitely be a great buddy to humans, and if you have another or other cats, well, that’s a plus for Sammy. Come see what’s so awesome about this handsome young-at-heart man, he is at our Manhattan Center.
Another volunteer writes: This big boy, entering his senior years, looks great! He has lovely green eyes, a face like a cougar and a demeanor that tells you he knows how to settle in and make a household happy. He especially likes his cheeks and whiskers to be rubbed. If you want a serene and huggable companion, Sammy’s your guy.
