This mature lady has so much enthusiasm for your love. Give this friendly girl a chance and stop by and spend some time with her, you will see how wonderful she really is. She is looking for a new home and she will really enjoy your company.” This precious pet was sadly surrendered due to her family’s “personal problems.” She has lived with kids and is loving towards everyone. Owner surrenders Samantha due to personal problems. Social Life and Personality: Samantha lived with two adults and children ages 17, 16, 15 and 5. Owner stated Samantha is tolerant towards everyone in the household. Samantha lived with another cat for the past 5 years and she was distance. Her behavior is unknown towards dogs. She indoors only and activity level is low. Owner stated Samantha is confident, mellow, assertive, quiet and independent. Behavior Issues: Owner stated Samantha has scratched another animal but not in the past 10 days. She doesn’t like to be picked up and held. She scratches on sofa and mattress. Owner stated Samantha will urinate outside the litter box when she is upset. It’s usually when her kids friends come over or her oldest daughter comes around. She will urinate on their items. For a New Family to Know: Beside the litter box issues she uses the litter box on daily basics. he doesn’t play with toys or scratch on scratching post. She rarely seeks attention and stays hidden. She eats wet and dry food called 9 lives once a day. Intake Behavior: Upon intake Samantha was quiet an calm. She scanned negative for a microchip and allowed all handling.

Reaction to Assessor: Samantha was calm, relaxed, and friendly upon approach. When softly spoken to, she comes to the front and stretches. Reaction to cage door opening: Samantha remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Samanatha head-butts the assessor’s hand and starts to purr. Reaction to being picked up: Samantha becomes a little tense, but allows handling. As per previous owner, Samantha has lived with 2 adults, 3 teenagers, and 1 child. She is tolerant with everyone in the house. She has also lived with another cat, but kept her distance. The owner says she doesn’t like to be held and rarely seeks attention. She was described as confident, mellow, assertive, quiet, and independent with a low activity level. Behavior Determination: Average Daniel interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
