SAMANTHA – A1040747
7-7-2015 Staten Island Rescue: Feline Rescue of SI Please honor your pledges: http://felinerescueofstatenisland.org/donation/
***SAFE 07/07/15*** SAMANTHA is a bit of a puzzle. Found in Staten Island, New York, she wandered up to a woman in her yard and let her pick her up. The woman thought she was doing the ‘right’ thing, as she presumed SAMANTHA was a lost cat, and she well may be. But her stray hold is up, and ACC is done with their responsiblity to SAMANTHA who has the sniffles. SAMANTHA IS EAR-TIPPED!!!! She may have been ‘tipped’ as part of a colony, or perhaps as a precaution by someone. But someone may know who she is-she is certainly friendly. But SAMANTHA is out of time. She needs someone to rescue her today. She really needs you and quickly. She has til 12 noon tomorrow and black and white cats have a very low rate of leaving this place except in a body bag dead.

06/19/15 14:37 Animal’s appearance – cat appears clean and of healthy weight. Animal’s demeanor with you – cat is just relaxing in carrier. there was no need to transfer being that finder let us keep carrier. But the cat is not soliciting attention but is not retreating either. Finder stated that the cat wandered onto her yard and came right up to her and she was able to pick the cat up with no issue. Finder stated that the cat was friendly. Finder believes the cat may belong to somebody but she asked around the neighborhood and no ones seems to have lost a cat.

A volunteer writes: Samantha is a petite gray and white miss who is very friendly. She will come to the front of her kitty condo when spoken to, gazing at you with love in her eyes. She’s a wee bit shy, but average or experienced cat parents would be perfect to help Samantha overcome her shyness.
