***GONE 07/13/15*** DARLING KITTEN DUO, DUMPED AS STRAYS, WILL DIE BECAUSE THEY SNEEZED – PLEASE GRANT SALT AND PEPPA A DEATH ROW PARDON!!! Adorable kittens SALT (a handsome 15-week-old ebony boy) and PEPPA (a lovely 11-week black and white girl) find themselves slung into the ACC’s Death Camp for Kitties, as STRAY waifs, all alone, with no mama cat to comfort and protect them! Both little loves earned very good EXPNOCHILD behavior ratings, but sadly, both caught the notorious ACC kitty cold and conjunctivitis. BOTH CONDITIONS ARE EASILY AND INEXPENSIVELY CURED, but we all know the ACC prefers to KILL rather than CURE, so these dear angels will DIE at noon tomorrow, INNOCENT VICTIMS of a badly broken shelter system. Please don’t let the ACC murder these kittens! Start RIGHT NOW to apply to foster or adopt SALT and PEPPA! If you can’t save them yourself, please SHARE their sad story and PLEDGE for their rescue!

07/12/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Salt was calm and relaxed upon approach. When softly spoken to, he looks at the assessor with relaxed eyes. Reaction to cage door opening: Salt becomes stiff and alert and retreats to the back. Reaction to touch: Salt focuses on the assessor’s hand and hisses. He allows touch, but tries to move away and avoid interaction. Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Salt tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
