Notes: Sally was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying conflicting behavior. Did not come to the front of the kennel but interacts with the Assessor for a brief moment before hissing than go back to appreciateing attention. Sally is displaying behavior appropriate for experienced cat parents with no children. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but looks at you, calm, relaxed When spoken quietly: does not come to front but looks at you, calm, relaxed Reaction to door cage opening: remains soft and relaxed Reaction to touch: allows petting and attention for a limited time before hissing Try picking cat up: Did not attempt Placement Determination: Experience no child
