Notes: Sailor Moon was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying friendly behavior, comes to the front of the kennel, interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Sailor Moon is displaying behavior appropriate for a beginner cat owner. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but looks at you, calm, relaxed and friendly When spoken quietly: does not come to front but looks at you, calm, relaxed and friendly Reaction to door cage opening: comes to the front, remains calm and relaxed Reaction to touch: purrs, rubs on hand, allows petting Try picking cat up: body remains soft and relaxed while being held Placement Determination: Beginner
