**GONE 08/22/15** SAHABI is an AVERAGE-rated neutered gent who wound up at the ACC when his former owner passed away. This perfectly-mannered 10-year-old cat sounds like a dream, judging from his owner surrender notes. It’s a shame that no one who knew his previous owner, was able to step up and give this guy a home. SAHABI is pretty much an instant best friend and needs us to find his HERO for him, right away! 08/04/15 16:50 Sahabi is an orange male tabby cat who was surrendered at ACC today due to the fact that his owner passed away. Sahabi is 9 yrs. old and is neutered and appears to be in good physical health. H eis described as being cute and friendly. Sahabi has been socialized with children and cats and is described as being relaxed affectionate respectful and tolerant around them. He can interact with children and cats in a respectful gentle manner and is well behaved with children especially. Sahabi has not been socialized with dogs at this point. He is an indoor cat who is litter trained. Sahabi is described as having a medium level of activity and is also described as being playful friendly affectionate quiet and independent. Sahabi is not bothered when he is being held having his fur brushed placed in a carrier or disturbed from his sleep. He has never had his nails trimmed and will struggle and try to escape when given a bath. Sahabi uses clay litter in an open litter box. He does not play with toys but will scratch furniture often in the house. Sahabi travels well in a car as he is relaxed. He eats wet food twice a day. When Sahabi is at home with his owner he will stay in the same room as them or he will stay in his favorite spot which is the living room. He will also sleep on the bed or in a chair at night. Sahabi was easy to handle throughout the Intake process. He allowed himself to be collared and picked up and held. He did not struggle or demonstrate any negative reactive behavior. Sahabi appears to be enjoy being around people.
