I came in the shelter as a SEIZED on 08/11/2015 from NY 10029, owner surrender reason stated was HOARDING. I came in with Group/Litter #K15-025665.

Reaction to assessor: Sabretooth was calm and relaxed upon approach. She looks at the assessor with relaxed eyes upon approach. Reaction to cage door opening: Sabretooth remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Sabretooth was hesitant of touch, but remains in place and allows petting. She flinches when touched, but remains immobile and lip licks. Reaction to being picked up: Sabretooth remains soft and allows handling, but starts to stress meow and tries to jump back into the cage. Behavior Determination: Experience Sabretooth tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter. She may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to her new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
