SABER caught the eye of the staff and they said this about her – *Saber is very appreciative for any attention. This sweet girl loves to head butt for attention. She was recently diagnosed with a URI and needs to leave the shelter to get better” SABER was found in a building and after only a day the finder brought her into the shelter and reported that she was friendly and affectionate with his own cat. SABER only wants to be loved and have a home. A cold in no reason to take her life away. GIVE SABER A CHANCE FOR A HAPPY ENDING AND CONTACT A RESCUE TO PULL HER TO SAFETY!!

08/01/15 17:10 Saber was found in the hallway of a residential building. Her finder saw her there for 1 day before bringing her into his apt. He kept her overnight and brought her to us the following day. He reports that she was friendly and affectionate with him and his own female cat. She used the litterbox without difficulties. Saber had a soft body and was easy to handle-scan (-), collar, pet, pick up, position for pictures, and put in a kennel. She didn’t resist/retreat/vocalize.

Reaction to touch: Saber stands with tail up, head-butts the assessor’s hand and appreciates petting on the head and body. Reaction to Being Picked up: She becomes antsy and jumps back into her cage. Placement determination: Average Saber interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting.
