*SAFE* 06/10/15 – A volunteer writes: 10 years old, 10 pounds and a big grey head only a mother could love. He is sweet and gentle and really looks like the neighborhood tom cat. What a surprise when you find out he is all too comfortable with humans and affection. Come and meet him today.
A volunteer writes: Oh my goodness, look at those cheeks! This adorable fellow has lived with 2 dogs and gotten along fine with them. Although he is mature, he is very feisty. He likes to tell you what to do and just can’t wait to get out of that cage! Will you be the one to give this great guy that golden opportunity? Come in and meet him, before someone else grabs him!

Rutherford was found 3 years ago. His finder cared for him but can’t keep him anymore due to lack of time. His owner says he’s friendly and affectionate and follows him around. He lived with 2 small dogs and is respectful and tolerant of them. He’s littertrained and doesn’t have accidents.
Rutherford had a soft body and allowed us to pick up, hold, scan, collar, photograph, and transfer him. He was easy to handle and didn’t resist/retreat/vocalize.
