RUPERT – A1042837
7-28-2015 Manhattan Rescue: Staten Island Hope Please honor your pledges: http://www.statenislandhoperescue.org
***SAFE 07/28/15*** PURRING BLUE- AND GREEN-EYED CHARMER, WHO ENTERED THE ACC WITH AN OPEN NECK WOUND, HAS A LOVING VOLUNTEER PLEA AND A NEAR-PERFECT BEHAVIOR RATING, BUT THE ACC WILL KILL HIM ANYWAY – PLEASE GRANT RUPERT A DEATH ROW PARDON!!! Exquisitely handsome four-year-old white and black boy RUPERT has the most STUNNING eyes – one blue and one green! This gorgeous gent landed in the kill-happy ACC as a WOUNDED STRAY – he had an open wound on his neck, which is why his neck area was shaved. Rupert quickly caught the eye of an ACC volunteer, who writes lovingly: “Rupert is a shy, 4-year-old boy. He stayed put, calm and relaxed on his little blanket when I approached him. Not afraid, but not seeking attention, either. I respected his space, so he was happy to let me photograph him. He never shrank, and his ears never turned on me; he just watched calmly with those eyes. And just *look* at those eyes! Imagine those beautiful eyes looking up at you with love after he’s learned he can trust you!” Rupert earned a near-perfect AVERAGE behavioral rating for his PURRS, but this dear lovebug will DIE at noon tomorrow! Please don’t let them murder this gorgeous boy! Start RIGHT NOW to apply to foster or adopt exquisite lovebug RUPERT! If you can’t save RUPERT yourself, please SHARE his sad story and PLEDGE for his rescue!

07/05/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
07/05/15 16:44hrs Rupert appears to be a domestic shorthair cat with two different color eyes, one blue and the other yellow. He was found as a stray cat in the Bronx. When he was approached while inside his carrier, Rupert would back away, with his ears erect and the end of his tail flicking. When he was offered food, he walked cautiously towards the Admissions Counselor, sniffed the food and proceeded to eat. He allowed, collaring, scanning for a microchip (negative) and taking photos without displaying any aggressive behavior.
