RUDOLPH – A1059825
Safe 12-12-2015 Manhattan Rescue: Staten Island Hope Please honor your pledges: http://www.statenislandhoperescue.org/
***SAFE 12/12/15*** RUDOLPH and two siblings were brought to the ACC because their owner died. This poor,7 year old already has corneal edema and scarring. The ACC sent out a SPECIAL PLEA on her behalf instead of trying to do something for her themselves! But the assessor, amazed at her great behavior despite her struggles, rewarded her with an AVERAGE rating! She’s got the sweetest eyes and will only get better with vetting! PLEASE, offer to FOSTER or ADOPT this precious girl! She’s needs someone who will help her not just “laugh and call her names”, like the ACC!

12/10/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – AVERAGE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Rudolph was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. She was very tense and nervous during her initial medical exam, trying to get away. Please note that this cat is being treated for a medical condition at the time of evaluation. It is difficult to determine at this time how the medical condition may be affecting the behavior. In spite of her medical condition, this cat remains social and affectionate. Reaction to assessor: Rudolph was calm and relaxed by the front. Reaction when softly spoken to: Rudolph attempts to sniff the assessor. Reaction to cage door opening: Rudolph remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Rudolph was a bit hesitant, but she arches her back and leans into petting. She warms up and begins to purr. Reaction to being picked up: Rudolph was tense during pick up, but relaxes in the assessor’s arms. Behavior Determination: Average Rudolph interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
