ROXY – A1050840
Gone 9-22-2015 Brooklyn
**GONE 09/22/15** Gentle ROXY is a 4-year-old girl who wound up at the shelter as a stray, but who almost certainly is someone’s lost pet. She is covered with mats and her heavy ear mite burden must be driving her crazy, but she earned a respectable EXPERIENCE rating from the shelter. Please help ROXY survive beyond noon tomorrow, and go on to have a happy life. Advocate widely for this deserving girl, tonight!

09/14/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Roxy was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. She was calm and easy to handle upon intake without any issues; however she became increasingly agitated during her initial medical exam and tries to flee from extended handling. Reaction to Assessor: Roxy was calm, relaxed, and friendly by the front. Reaction when softly spoken to: Roxy head-butts the cage door and solicits attention. Reaction to cage door opening: Roxy remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Roxy meows, leans on the assessor’s hand, and rubs to solicit attention. Reaction to being picked up: Roxy whines and shifts away from the assessor’s hand. She becomes tense and tolerates petting afterwards, but seems less affectionate. Placement Determination: Experience Roxy interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, and tolerates all petting, but may become easy agitated with extended handling. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
