04/17/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Rocky was brought to the shelter as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment he was displaying friendly behavior, comes to the front of the kennel, interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. He does not like other cats and will hiss/swat at them. Rocky also may redirect to the person handling him. Rocky is displaying behavior appropriate for a experience cat owner. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but looks at you, calmly (1) When spoken quietly: comes to the front of cage (1) Reaction to door cage opening: remains soft and relaxed (1) Reaction to touch: solicits petting and attention (1) Try picking cat up: tolerant of this type of handling but tense Placement Determination: Experience
