ROBIN – A1059321
Safe 12-16-2015 Manhattan Rescue: Anjellicle Cats Rescue Please honor your pledges: http://bit.ly/RobinA1059321
***SAFE 12/16/15**BEGINNER-rated ROBIN was returned to the ACC with a hamper full of other cats, because of “allergies” which might also be taken to mean that the former owner had nowhere to stay. ROBIN has lived with CATS, DOGS, and is already NEUTERED! Check out these loving volunteer comments and then find a FOSTER or ADOPTER for ROBIN, tonight! “A volunteer writes: Do you need a sidekick good enough for a super-hero? Well, here he is! Our handsome young Robin has lived with and been close with 4 other cats and 2 large dogs. As if that weren’t enough, she loves people and is very playful. He will be as happy to meet you, as I think you will to meet him. He’s all ready to make your holidays the happiest!”

12/01/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
12/01/15 16:29 BASIC INFO Sinbad, Robin, Cat Woman, Wonder Woman, and Misu were surrendered together because their owner doesn’t have a place to stay. He had taken them all in as strays. Robin, Cat Woman, and Wonder Woman are siblings and were found as kittens about 1.5 years ago. SOCIALIZATION Robin is friendly/outgoing with strangers. He plays exuberantly with people. Cat Woman sometimes pestered Robin and he often reacted by starting a fight with her (wrestling and growling). They never bit/scratched each other or broke skin. Robin was otherwise relaxed, affectionate, tolerant, playful, and played exuberantly with the 4 cats and 2 dogs in his home. The dogs and cats spent all of their time together; they ate together, slept cuddled together, and played together. Robin has never bit/scratched anyone. BEHAVIOR Robin is relaxed in the car. He doesn’t mind when someone picks up/holds him, wakes him up, or puts him in a carrier. He won’t hold still during nail trims unless a second person is petting him. He struggles during baths. FOR A NEW FAMILY TO KNOW Robin’s family describes him as friendly, very affectionate, playful, and high energy. He likes to sit in people’s laps. He also likes to sit in the tub and paw at the water coming from the faucet. He plays with balls, string, wand toys, stuffed toys, and anything he finds on the floor. He lived inside and slept with the other pets. He ate dry 9 Lives Cat food. He’s littertrained, potties in a hooded litterbox with clumping or clay litter, and doesn’t have accidents. He scratches vertical scratching posts covered in rope and carpet, horizontal cardboard scratching pads, boxes, tables, and couches. INTAKE Robin had a slightly tense, crouched body while we picked him up, pet him, scanned him (-), collared him, positioned him for pictures, and put him in a kennel. He crouched and looked at us on the counter. He didn’t resist, retreat, or vocalize.
