***SAFE 09/05/15 *** WE JUST CAN’T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THE SENIORS!!… A volunteer writes: Super Senior alert. This guy is such a charmer. Simply a regal king, gentle and sweet who deserves safe retirement. Take him home and give him the crown seat he deserves. Right by that sunny window where he can watch the birds, relax and dream. Don’t let him spend his golden years in a city shelter. Offer him more than we can give…. ROBERT’S former owner no longer wanted him and had no time for him and didn’t bother to get vet care for him….DO YOU HAVE THE TIME?? TO GIVE ROBERT THE LOVE HE DESERVES….ROBERT is already NEUTERED and lived with kids of all ages….SAY YES TO A SENIOR TONIGHT AND SAVE ROBERT!!

08/21/15 19:56 Basic Info: Robert A1048745 is a 12yr old neutered male black & white DSH feline who was given to the owner by a family member 11yrs ago and is being surrendered due to the owner no longer wanting Robert. Robert was never seen by a vet and has no current health issues or injuries. Socialization: Around strangers Robert is shy for a few minutes. He’s lived with children ages 7yrs-22yrs he’s relaxed/affectionate with them and plays gently with them also with adults. Robert has never been around or lived with other animals nor has he ever bitten/scratched anyone. Behavior: During car rides Robert meows/cries for a few minutes. During bath time Robert struggles initially then calms down same with getting his nails trimmed. He enjoys being brushed, picked up/held. He doesn’t mind being placed into a carrier. For A New Family to Know: Robert is described as friendly, affectionate, mellow and quiet with low-medium activity level. The owner likes how “chill” Robert is. Robert enjoys being pet and people/street watching from the window. When the owner is home Robert follows them around at times. He’s an indoor cat who sleeps on the sofa or with one of the children. He eats dry & wet Meow Mix cat food. Robert is litter box trained and has no accidents, his litter box is uncovered with clumping litter within. He uses the furniture as a scratching post since he didn’t use the one they had for him. Intake Behavior: Robert allowed all handling. He allowed us to scan (-) & collar him. Due to him attempting to flee and being very aware of the cats in the adjoining kennels we were unable to take a clear picture of him on the backdrop.
