** SAFE 06/24/15** BEGINNER-rated RIF is only about 2 years old, and already, he is a total sweetheart! While the ACC has their board meeting tomorrow afternoon, someone in Brooklyn Center is going to be pulling this lovebug out of his cage, then walking him down the hall so he can be given a lethal injection. It will be business as usual for the uppity-ups at the ACC and you can bet they won’t even give Rif a second thought; you can bet those board members will be unable to name even a few of the 40 cats who are scheduled to be killed during that board meeting tomorrow. The only hope for RIF lies in everyone who sees this post, and in the fact that one of those people could save his life by foster/adopting. Please do not let his life end at the ACC! Advocate fiercely for RIF, tonight!

06/18/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – BEGINNER
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Rif was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment he was displaying friendly behavior, comes to the front of the kennel, interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Rif is displaying behavior appropriate for a beginner cat owner Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but looks at you, is calm, relaxed and friendly When spoken quietly: comes to the front of cage, soliciting, rubbing against front Reaction to door cage opening: remains soft and relaxed Reaction to touch: solicits petting and attention Try picking cat up: tolerant of this type of handling Placement Determination: Beginner
