I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 10/09/2015 from NY 11426, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY. I came in with Group/Litter #K15-035375.

Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Rhonda was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. She was fearful and cautious upon intake, but allowed handling during her initial medical exam. Reaction to Assessor: Rhonda was resting in her cage upon approach. Reaction when softly spoken to: Rhonda looks at the assessor with relaxed eyes. Reaction to cage door opening: Rhonda remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Rhonda rolls on her side and rubs her cheeks on various objects in her cage. She begins to knead and gets very excited, but remains in place and appreciates all attention. Reaction to being picked up: Rhonda remains calm and allows handling, but prefers to be in her cage. Placement Determination: Average Rhonda interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
