06/18/15 18:47 Basic Information: Regina is a 3year old cat that has no past or current medical issues according to the owner. Social Life & Personality: Regina has been around children interacted with the other cats just fine. She lived with 2 dogs (One Large & One Small) and interacted with both in a gentle playful manner. Regina is an indoor only cat that is liter box trained. Regina is described to be friendly, playful, and affectionate with a high activity level. Behavior Issues: The owner isn’t sure how she will respond to grooming agents due never trying to do things like trimming of the nails or giving a bath. Regina will allow you to brush his coat and this can be done without any issues. She likes to be held and takes well to being put in a cat carrier for transport. For a New Family to Know: Regina was brought up using regular clay litter and a standard litter box. She enjoys all sorts of cat toys and will play with just about anything according to the owner. When in the home Regina is the type to follow you around seeking attention. When interacting with humans Regina is gentle. Regina was brought up eating both wet/dry food and there was no specific brand that the owner gave.

(1) Reaction to cage door opening: Becomes stiff and alert. (3) Reaction to touch: Solicits petting and attention, rubs head on hands. (1) Reaction to being picked up: Calm during this type of handling. Notes: Regina came to the shelter surrendered by an owner with a limited profile. At the time of the assessment, Regina is displaying good behavior. She does not interact with the assessor until she is being pet, but appreciates all handling. Regina is exhibiting behavior suited to average cat parents.
