***SAFE 08/02/15*** TINY 4-POUND SWEET, SHY 12-YEAR-OLD TORTIE, DUMPED WHEN HER OLD OWNER DIED, HAS A GREAT BEHAVIOR RATING, BUT WILL DIE BECAUSE SHE SNEEZED – PLEASE GRANT REGGI A DEATH ROW PARDON!!! Gorgeous senior tortie girl REGGI, 12 years old, was dumped into the hungry jaws of the kill-happy ACC following the DEATH of her old owner. Reggie weighs JUST 4 POUNDS, so she’ll need lots of TLC to restore her to her former glory. She earned a very good EXPNOCHILD behavior rating, but poor Reggi will DIE at noon tomorrow, an INNOCENT VICTIM of the notorious ACC kitty cold and a badly broken shelter system! Please don’t let them kill this dear old gal! Torties have marvelously EXUBERANT personalities, and Reggi is every bit as deserving of rescue as any other cat on tonight’s dreadful list. Start RIGHT NOW to apply to foster or adopt senior tortie girl REGGI! If you can’t save REGGI yourself, please SHARE her sad story and PLEDGE for her rescue!

07/27/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Reggi becomes alert and lowers her body behind her litter box upon approach. She focuses on the assessor and seems wary of her environment when softly spoken to. Reaction to cage door opening: Reggi becomes stiff and remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Reggi lies flat against the ground and is very hesitant of touch. She allows stroke on her head and body, but twitches and stiffly tries to move away. Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Reggi tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. She may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to her new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
