After a while, she may get over-stimulated; she gets up and head-butts the assessor’s hand vigorously and her tail swishes from side to side. Reaction to being picked up: Reggae remains calm and allows handling. Behavior Determination: Experience Reggae interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Although she is displaying behaviors that earn her a Beginner score, due to her reaction to handling with some of our staff and volunteers in the care center and her willingness to strike out to avoid handling in certain situations, we recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents who are familiar with feline body language and can recognize signs if she wishes to be left alone. _________________________________________________________________________________ Reaction to assessor: Reggae immediately comes soliciting at the front of the cage.
