RALPH – A1057671
Safe 11-18-2015 Brooklyn Rescue: Staten Island Hope Please honor your pledges: http://www.statenislandhoperescue.org/
**SAFE 11/18/15** Sweet RALPH has luminous amber eyes and a soft orange tabby topcoat to match. The whole works is set off by the brilliant white sheen of fur on the lower half of his body, so all signs point to a kitten who is well on track to grow into a PERFECT PET. RALPH is only 4 months old so he has a ways to go, but the ACC has decided that 4 months on earth is plenty. Who here disagrees with them? Please make RALPH’s long life a real possibility by sharing him for a hero FOSTER or ADOPTER tonight!

11/16/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Ralph was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. He was shy for introduction upon intake and was slightly tense, but allowed handling. He was easy to handle during his initial medical exam. Reaction to Assessor: Ralph was resting in his cage upon approach. Reaction when softly spoken to: Ralph wakes and looks at the assessor. He hisses once and starts to meow. Reaction to cage door opening: Ralph becomes alert and continues to meow. Reaction to touch: Ralph was hesitant, but remains in place and allows all petting. He meows throughout the interaction, but slowly warms up to petting. He still seems wary of the environment. Placement Determination: Experience Ralph tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter. He may need time to warm up to his new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
