RAJMA – A1052399
Gone 10-5-2015 Brooklyn
*** GONE 10/05/15*** POSSIBLY PREGNANT! – RAJMA may be early in a pregnancy, but she’s just the cutest baby herself! She and another CAT,TANGRA(who is already SAFE) were brought into the ACC in traps. RAJMA is only a little over a year old and has had to grow up so quickly for such a young girl! She was timid and displayed fearful behavior during assessment so she’s RATED EXPERIENCE! But give her time and she should warm right up to you. After all, a shelter environment is a scary place and not easy to accurately assess behavior in! PLEASE offer to FOSTER or ADOPT RAJMA,she may need care if pregnant and it can only be done by YOU!

09/22/15 18:28 Rajma arrived in a trap and was silent and wide-eyed. When the handler extended a hand, Rajma did not move to sniff or retreat further – just remained steady with wide gaze. Handler did not try to remove Rajma by hand. Rajma went from trap to carrier with gentle prodding, and displayed no signs of aggression at any time; however, she also did not display any indication that she was soliciting attention (or welcoming it)

09/25/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Rajma was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Remains motionless as I started to get closer but after a steady slow approach using soft voices she relaxed a little and I was able to pet her and interact with her in a limited way. I was also able to pick her up and although she was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening: remains motionless Reaction to touch: seems indifferent to my presence and touch Try picking cat up: Rajma is tolerant of this type of handling but tense. Placement Determination: Experience
