RAINBOW DASH – A1036091
5-18-2015 Brooklyn
***GONE 05/18/15*** HANDSOME YOUNG BOY, DUMPED AS A “STRAY”, IS PERFECTLY HEALTHY, BUT WILL DIE BECAUSE OF HIS FEAR – PLEASE GRANT RAINBOW DASH A DEATH ROW PARDON!!! Handsome two-year-old gray tabby boy RAINBOW DASH was stuffed into the ACC’s Death Camp for Kitties as a SUPPOSED “STRAY”, but this big boy weighs NEARLY 10 POUNDS & entered the shelter FREE of fleas and ear mites – it’s obvious that Rainbow Dash is a lost or abandoned pet kitty! Poor Although he allowed petting at intake, his FEAR soon caught up with him, and now Rainbow Dash is TERRIFIED in the scary shelter setting. Naturally the ACC PUNISHED him with New Hope Only and fast-tracked Rainbow Dash to the noon kill list for tomorrow, despite the fact that this EXCELLENT young boy is PERFECTLY HEALTHY! Please start RIGHT NOW to apply to foster or adopt scared tabby boy RAINBOW DASH from the approved New Hope rescue groups! If you can’t save RAINBOW DASH yourself, please SHARE his sad story and PLEDGE for his rescue!

05/15/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Rainbow Dash was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to was seeing during the evaluation. He seems to not be thriving in this environment and at the time of the assessment he was displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room and may require further investigation before placement in a home. He is extremely fearful and currently does not tolerate petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time. Reaction to assessor: was hiding when I approach cage (3) When spoken quietly: continues to hide (3) Reaction to door cage opening: becomes stiff, alert (3) Reaction to touch: growls, hisses, does not allows petting at all (5) Try picking cat up: did not attempt to pick the cat up, fractious behavior.
