MAKE IT “RAIN”!! RAIN is a cat that knows what they want……offering friendly behavior when solo at the ACC, RAIN had trouble with the finder’s one year old and Jack Russell terrier (both high energy beings). CAN YOU OFFER RAIN SPACE TONIGHT?? This is a nice cat who needs an understanding cat parent to blossom….GIVE RAIN THAT CHANCE BY OFFERING TO FOSTER OR ADOPT!!

04/05/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Looks at you, meowing. (1) When spoken quietly: Comes to the front of the cage, reaches paw out. (1) Reaction to door cage opening: Remains soft and relaxed. (1) Reaction to touch: Solicits petting and attention, head-butts. (1) Try picking cat up: Tolerant of this type of handling, soft body. Notes: Rain was brought into the shelter as a stray, but spent time with the client who noted that Rain offered distance-increasing behaviors toward a toddler in the home. The medical team noted the cat did not allow handling. At the time of the assessment, Rain is displaying friendly behavior. The cat interacts with the assessor and appreciates all handling. Rain has potential as a friendly housecat, but due to notes from the client and shelter staff, it is recommended that Rain go to a home with cat parents with no small children who can figure out what Rain’s triggers are and work through the behavioral issues.
